This Tip Jar will show you how to take orders over the phone using the "Suspend Order" button in the Change App. Whether a customer wants "dine in," "to go" or "delivery," we'll walk through the few simple steps from receiving the call to ringing up payment when the customer arrives. Ready? Here we go.
1. Ring up the customer's order like normal.
Tap items in the right as they appear in the left order column.
2. Label the order.
Just drag the left column down and type in the customer's name or time they'll arrive. Then choose the order type by tapping "Delivery," "Dine In," or "To Go." When done, drag the column back up.
3. Now we'll tap "Orders" and "Suspend Current Order."
This stores the ticket for later.
4. When the customer arrives to pick up their order, just tap "Orders" again and find their order.
Ring up the customer's payment, hand them their goods, and they're on their way. Simple as that.
