As Change becomes a more powerful solution for restaurants and bars, our customers continue to identify interesting problems for us to solve.
Recently, a few establishments approached us looking for a better way to have multiple people manage orders on one device. After spending some time collecting their feedback and ideas, we got to work and the result was a simple, yet flexible solution: staff profiles.
How It Works
Staff profiles create individual workspaces for your staff, allowing each person to manage their own orders and their own till.
Staff can choose to create their own till, which is perfect for servers working from their own banks, or multiple profiles can work from the same till.
Switching from one staff profile to another is super quick and easy. No need to swap tills, just choose your profile from the list and your orders will be counted toward your till.
How To Get Started
In the Change app, you can enable Staff Profiles under Settings > Account > Staff Profiles.
Once enabled, an "Add Staff Profile" button will appear in your dropdown. Simply tap the button to create a new profile, then select the till that person will be working from.
