When setting up your Change point of sale app, one of your first steps will be creating Departments and Items. A Department is a classifier which assigns a tax rate and an Item is anything that can be added to an order.
With the new Miscellaneous Screen, you can ring up any item, even if it's not in your Change menu. Plus, you can ring up by units or dollar amount. So whether customers want a dozen cupcakes or $15 worth of coffee beans, you can make it happen with the new Miscellaneous Screen update.
