Sometimes printers just won't behave so we made it our mission to get them back in line when they're naughty. With our new Printer Status and Settings screen, you can now look for printers on your network, name them, change settings, and troubleshoot errors.
Printer Status and Settings
Look For Printers
When a printer goes missing on your network, all you need to do is tap the "Look For Printers" button. It will seek out any enabled printers on your network and attempt to reconnect with them.
Printer Status
The most helpful part of this update is the printer status screen which informs you whether or not the printer is visible on the network, when it was last seen, and if it's connected. We also provide you with the model number, IP address, and MAC address, which helps our support team better diagnose any issues you may be having. Finally, if the printer is currently experiencing errors, this screen will list those.
Name Printers
If you're using more than one receipt printer, you can now name them to help you better identify which one is which.
Enable/Disable
You can now enable or disable specific printers found on your network and choose which type of jobs you would like to send to that printer from your device.
Also in this version
In addition to the new printer settings, we've added a few more improvements to this version of Change:
- A few minor improvements to the interface for iOS 7.
- A more precise way of taking and cropping photos of items.
- BUG FIX: Switching between amount and percentage when adjusting a tax rate will no longer cause conflicts.
All this is now available for download in the App Store.
