Announcing The Change Challenge: Tacopocalypse Edition

Things have been going pretty well for the Change crew lately. We surpassed 225,000 transactions, 10,000 downloads, and we're almost ready to release a big new feature. It seems like a mighty fine time to celebrate and what better way to boast these achievements than with a competitive eating challenge.

It's about to get MESSy. The second Change Challenge will take place this month at Tacopocalypse, located in the heart of the East Village. A few brave competitors will be taking on "The Hot Mess Express," a culinary creation concocted by Tacopocalypse owner Sam Auen.

If you remember, Sam participated in our first-ever Change Challenge last year at Hotshots Hotdoggery. He was a worthy competitor, but unfortunately, didn't emerge victorious. We have a feeling this time he might be seeking vengeance for his loss.

Join us Wednesday, April 16, at 2 p.m., where you'll witness a group of amateur competitive eaters devour a yet-to-be-determined mixture of spicy pain and brutality. There may even be a chance for the audience to participate during this spectacle, so come prepared.

To RSVP, head on over to the event page on Facebook and stay tuned, the official competitor roster and rules will be coming soon.
