Oh my! Our Change users have been busy! Last week, New World Cafe had their best week ever and we're seeing our stats grow across the board.
Change users have officially recorded over 30,000 transactions, added more than 3,000 items to their menus, and the app has been downloaded over 3,000 times.
We never would have reached these milestones without our awesome friends and customers.
Our Test Pilots have been incredibly patient in helping us debug and improve the app. Dwolla featured us in their point of sale video showing off our slick integration. In their March issue, Inc. Magazine wrote about our pivot to Change . And finally, our incredible friends and families have been helping us spread the word to get businesses signed up and using Change.
These numbers make us pretty happy, but we’re hungry for more. We want to double these stats in half the time. So that’s what we’re going to do.
We hope our latest release (Version 1.1) is the first big step toward leaving those milestones in the dust. Here’s what we’ve recently added to Change:
Suspend Orders: Just add items to an order, tap the orders tab, click suspend. Voilà! Order suspended! To reopen, return to the orders tab and tap the order you want to reopen. Easy as pie.
Customer Check: We added a print button to the order journal in the sidebar. You can now print a customer check , which is a receipt of all the items ordered and the amount due. After you collect and enter payment, you can print the final receipt.
Kitchen Printing: That same print button gives you the option to print a kitchen receipt. It'll be a receipt of just the items ordered and none of that other gobbledygook. Your kitchen staff will want to kiss you on the mouth.
Order Note: We added a note field to the order journal sidebar so you can attach notes to an order. You can even see this note in your list of suspended orders.
Of course, we’ve got more features in the works and can’t wait to release them. With each little update, our goal is to keep making your life a little bit easier.
