Over the past few months during my internship at Change, I’ve been blogging, following, and ‘liking’ all things food. It's been so much fun watching tasty creations pop up in my feed. Some of our Change customers are so good with Facebook and Twitter that almost every day, I fight the urge to jump in my car and road trip for lunch.
So I thought I would share a few of my favorite restaurants to follow online. Each of the following establishments have some serious mouthwatering social media game.
1. Loulou Jane
Loulou Jane is a cafe and custom cake shop in Bromley, England. Their website has great, high quality photos highlighting their delicate custom cakery. Loulou Jane posts photos of cupcake creations and their newest cakes on Facebook.
2. Mother Goose Interiors and Coffee Shop
Mother Goose sells home decor and coffee in Macclesfield, England. They promote their cafe essentials such as tea pots and bottles of their salad dressing on Facebook for purchase. Their website includes beautiful high definition photos of their showroom and cafe.
3. APieCalypse Now! Bakery
APieCalypse Now! Bakery is a vegan bakery located in Ontario, Canada, with a huge successful following on social media. The bakery posts fun photos, new specials, and replies to all inquiries on their Facebook page. APieCalypse Now! Bakery Twitter retweets their customers reviews and images from their visit.
4. The Brew Coffee and Juice Bar
I love The Brew Coffee and Juice Bar's Facebook page. Everyday they post their specials, their menu, or their latest coffee creation. They engage their customers with photos and estimated times of when their signature dishes will be ready!
5. The Ball Joint
The Ball Joint is one of my favorite restaurants on social media. Their Twitter promotes funny stories, replies to customers, and updates on the restaurant. Their Facebook page posts daily specials and delicious photos of their specialty meatballs. The Ball Joint just might be worth the trip all the way to Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania!
