Over the past month, we’ve shared with you the many elements of the Change Credo, a philosophy that guides us as we work to build a better point of sale for our customers. We’ve explained how to “Make It Count,” “Make Mistakes,” “Make It Human,” “Make It Fun,” and now the time has come to examine the final part of the Change Credo, “Make It Together.”
Whether it be a teammate, a customer, or complete stranger, everyone has something potentially helpful to contribute.
Help each other succeed.
Listen. Provide feedback.
We’re stronger together.
Collaboration keeps Change moving. Designers interviewing customers, account managers working with developers, and our COO building partnerships with vendors. Everyone has their own point-of-view and ideas to bring to the table. Dan Shipton, our CEO, strongly believes the more we all work together, the better our software becomes.
“Make It Together” is also about bringing customers into our world so we can work with them and design better solutions. By checking in with customers regularly and collecting their feedback, we provide them with the opportunity to build this system with us. We consider our customers part of the team.
You can read more about our credo on the Change About page. To learn more about why we created the Change Credo, read our first post in this series. We hope you enjoyed our exploration of all the elements of our credo. Did you have a favorite? Let us know in the comments and tell us what drives your business and your team.
